Title: British Museum
Description: The British Museum sells history in little sealed, greaseproof paper bags. You don't know what history you have until you get home and open it. I bought one, and when I opened it it was the black death. What a waste of £2.99!

Weird pattern, made stronger by b&w tones.

Comment reminds me of the old Steven Wright joke - "My local cafe had a poster which said they served breakfast at any time, so I ordered croissants during the rennaisance"

I spent ages trying to figure out what it was that made me feel something wasn't right about this. It's nothing to do with the photography as such, more the composition. I think the two American scene banners detract from the pattern of the roof. The one on the right starts bang on a third and the straight line leads the eye right out of the frame and away from the roof. It is a great looking subject though and I agree that monochrome makes the viewer appreciate the pattern. I really like it apart from the banners.

I know what you mean. I was rather upset by all these banners and display boards they put around the place. Don't they know that people are trying to take photos?

Seen this same pic in the "DAILY MAIL" when they opened the place 2 weeks ago. I don't buy the "mail" there's too much to read,i'm a "sun" kinda guy but my mum likes the "mail" and when i visit on sunday i often read it just to ignore her. Agree with the other geezer, those banners are pants and it's completly ruined my viewing. I often instruct the staff to take them down before hand when i'm due to arrive. Balls to the Banners mate this is the best pic you've uploaded so far. Like it and i'm gonna click on that i like it thing (twice) Tino!
