I'm sure there's a line here somewhere about whatever tickles your fancy, just can't think of a set up for it wink
Really good composition and an interesting use of b&w for such a joyous picture - normally i'd associate b&w with a more sombre mood.

I agree, I normally only go for B&W for 'moody' shots but the in colour it didn't really look anything special.

Yea I was trying to think of something when I posted it but my brain switches off after work!

You were beaten by a monkey,i was too! i came runner up though so how do you feel about that? Can you tell me if one of these people is you,coz i quite like the one on the right. She's got that swishy hair thing going on. Monkey men love the "swishy hair"

 Female (gold account) buttonspoon replied:

I think that although mine showed emotion well, it was notan example of great photography. But that's probably explainable by the fact that I was taking this pic of me and a friend (yes I am the one on the right and thanks for the compliment smile ) and we fell backwards laughing as I took it. I'm quite surprised it isn't blurry!
I think the monkey was a deserved winner and your picture of that little fella was also much better than mine smile
