This does look a lot better than the other one,try using the magnetic lasso tool it takes a bit of "jiggery pokery" to set up properly but it snaps too the pixels as you move around them. If it goes off a bit just stop and press the backspace button to the point you want to continue from. Inverse the selection and then select blk&whi or try just using the sponge tool (desaturate) increase it's ring size and move it around in a circular motion,zoom into the image when you start going around the part you want to keep in colour. sponge is found in the 'dodge' and 'burn' tools shaped like a fist.

Ah so that'd be photoshop then? Dammit there's no getting away from it! Used a free prog to do this (faststone image viewer) - but I guess if I stopped being a tightass I could actually get some half decent pics smile
