Title: Burnham Light House
Description: Evening shot of the lower lighthouse at Burnham on Sea in Somerset. The village of Burnham has 3 lighthouses, this being the last one built. It was was built in 1832 to complement the tower lighthouse already in the village, which was found to be at too low a vantage point to take into account the massive rise and fall of the tides in the area. Thus this lighthouse on legs was built close to the water.
