Verified members

Verified members are members that have proven that they're the person shown in the photos that they upload. This is done by them submitting a photo to the site moderators. In the photo they write the name of the website and the current date somewhere in the photo, on themselves on on a piece of paper.

The site moderators review the submitted photo, and if it all looks genuine and they're sure that the photo isn't taken from somewhere else with the text added afterwards then that member becomes a verified member.

So verified members are members that we're pretty sure are uploading photographs of themselves and aren't simply taking photos off some other website and claiming that it's them.

If you find that your photos have been removed from the gallery and your ability to upload disabled by a site moderator who suspects that you're using photos that aren't yours, you may choose to (or the moderator may ask you to) submit a photo for verification before the photos are restored and your uploads enabled again.
