Favourite Location? Landscape photography is not my forte but something I want to improve. The challenge though is to find suitable places of interest to take those stunning picture of. So the question to the good folks of Chortlebury - what are your favourite locations for dramatic or interesting landscape pictures?

I'm from Scotland originally and never had the opportunity to photograph what they call "god's country". (maybe go back some day)
I now live in the North west and 10 minutes drive from where i live give me beautiful landscapes but like you it's not my forte!
The lake district is only an hour away and we went to blackpool with the kids yesterday in only 50 mins. Not a pleasant place but got some great shots of J.C.B's on the beach.
Anywhere looks amazing in sunrise or sunset, you'll love Scotland though, not edinburgh or glasgow go further north. Discover real beauty!!!

The Cornish coast is particularly nice and quite dramatic.
But my personal favourite is the Costa de la Luz in Spain (white sand dunes, Moorish architecture, withered trees and majestic wind turbines) so start saving for your plane fare!
