Facebook I've started a Facebook group so that popularity for this group can soar to dizzying heights. If any of you are on Facebook then feel free to join it at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8751704542

Well it would be good if a Chortleberry application for Facebook was developed. That way you could pester even more people into using Chortleberry.

What's the point of an application for Facebook? Why does everything have to be in Facebook these days? You sir are a nonsense.

I agree (about wondering what the point is of an application *and* about you being a nonsense!)
I was just asking a colleague earlier on today why I can't move these days without someone expecting me to do so on Facebook or MySpace!

That's the way modern life is I'm afraid. You can't even take part in any social event without it being advertised in Facebook.
Perhaps you should develop a 'Wheelybird-esque' homing pigeon application on Facebook which might make people long for the old days of sending messages and invites via feathered flight.

I'm obviously living in the wrong century - not only does the thought of personalised carrier pigeons appeal to me but somehow I manage to attend social events which have no connection at all to Facebook or any other terminally dull social networking "tool"
Wheelybird - if you do get a homing pigeon service set up please sign me up!

i'll buy anyone without a facebook account a pint, pint of gin if you delete an active one.

I wish it was that easy to delete my active Facebook account. Perhaps if I were still in England I would do it without a shadow of a doubt (and in full expectation of gin!). But, I'm in a foreign country where the only news of 'Western' events flows through Facebook. It's a shame, I know...

I think perhaps the funniest thing I've read here is the assumption that I attend social events

Matthew, you owe me a pint, guinness will do. Like Jenny I also refrain from attending social events, I *am* a social event.
