Motivation

Having had a bit of a mid winter photographic slump I decided to drag myself out to the north Norfolk coast to see the sight of tens of thousands of geese flying in from their night roosts on the Wash to feed inland. Wow!

I took 300+ pictures, and almost all are crap, yet it was the perfect thing to rekindle my photographers desire - taking that many bad pictures was a kick up the behind but the biggest thing was having witnessed this amazing scene and not being able to really explain it to people, without resorting to "and this blurry picture shows...."

So although I won't be getting up of my own free will at 4.30am again anytime soon I will be looking for more photo opportunities to assuage some of that desire to capture the glory in nature.
