Dogs and Photography

Despite the fact that I love taking pictures of my dogs there are times when dogs and photography just don't mix.

Take today, a little bit of sunshine, first day I'd been out of the house for a week and the chance to capture some butterfly shots.

So off to the park I go, two retriever puppies in tow (well towing me to be honest) and let them off the lead. See a "white" butterfly, follow it and am about to take some macro shots when my viewfinder fills with the shape of a black flat coat and I look up to see him sitting there, munching on a butterfly and looking really pleased with himself.

So folks, remember that whilst a dog is for life its best to leave them at home unless you want them eating your models!
