Airshow

I went to the Lowestoft Airshow yesterday (terrific day out, and free!) and for the first time found the true benefit of digital - the ability to take hundreds of pictures.

Lots of instinctive "point and shoot" pictures, hoping to track the plane right and get the clarity and sharp detail which would make standing amongst 220,000 people on a beach front worthwhile. Once I've gone through my shots I'll post some, and you can say decide whether they are any good.

One thing I didn't consider was the difference in shooting conditions of land vs sea. It was a bright sunny day, so I was expecting everything to be fine. What I didn't take into account was the slight haze that hung over the sea, which means a good 1/2 of my shots aren't as good as I'd hoped.

And another thing its given me is a desire to take more plane shots - got to plan to hit some more airshows I think.
