Edinburgh

In case you are wondering why "Return to personal default" it is because it is the best piece of advice I was given when using a digital SLR. I shoot on a Nikon D200, and have a personal default of all the modes and settings which I set the camera to every time I finish shooting. That way if I see a picture that won't be there in a couple of seconds I am able to set the camera as quick as possible, sometimes without looking at the buttons, dials and knobs because I know, without having to remind myself, what the camera is already set to.
I moved to Edinburgh on Friday ( 29/02/2008 ). Had a meal at home with my new flatmates on Saturday and visited the local pub on Sunday. On Monday I started work so I have not been out yet to photograph the city, I think I am probably going to get out at the weekend and see what I can come up with.
I like to photograph whatever takes my fancy at the time, I don't really have much of a preference, although I suppose if pushed I would prefer to work outdoors.
For anyone interested I'm a 37 year old bloke who is single and drinks guinness (extra cold please) originally from London.
Finally. Thanks to everyone who has left nice comments on my pictures. You have made me very happy with myself.

Oooh. These fancy cameras with their personal default settings.
I tire of having to always turn off the flash each time I turn the camera on again. Silly camera!
